Made a display rack over the past few weekends to help get my hardware off the ensuite counter. It houses most of my hardware- I do have a few razors and a brush out at the lake that I will have to find a home for as well. I do have an adjustable out on loan, too, as well as a few more knots inbound that will need handles. I’ll probably ditch the cases at that point so that they fit. Anyway, I went with through tenons because I like the look of them and finished it with milk paint for a little different look. Happy with how it turned out:
very cool, nice work.i at some point want to do the same. i may have to build something with doors, wood or glass as my place tends to collect a lot of dust..love those brushes.
I really like the arching lines, horizontally and vertically. BTW that Canadian Rubberset looks great!
Re-lettering can be very rewarding or heart breaking. As long as the lettering is still deep, it will stick. PM me if you would like any tips.
Thanks, I'll PM in the future with some questions. I think the biggest issue was that I rubbed out the deep scratches and made the lettering too shallow as a result.
Aaahhh yes, I've done that. It's a tough call ... live with scratches and great lettering or vice versa.
I'm in! Great PIF, Jason. ...oh, wait... /wishful thinking=OFF Beautiful project and gear, Jason! I love it!
See, that's what I'm talkinabout, @Primotenore.....Charlie has caused great confusion with just 3 words.."I AM IN".
