Shaving in the shower is sometimes necessary.
Sometimes I shave in the shower when I'm strapped for time. Hey taking a hot shower is already a part of my pre-shave routine anyway. When I do shave in the shower I use an old brush I have had for years it's either boar or synthetic. I'm not sure which. And for my shave soap I use Three Butters Utility Bar Soap by SheaMoisture . This stuff is pretty cool. It has a good smell to it, it lathers well, and best of all it's your shave soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner all in one. It moisturizes nicely and cushions well. My face felt great after my shave. This isn't my favorite stuff to shave with but, it is the only one I'll use in the shower. Give it a try if you haven't already. They also make a shave butter and cream in a tube, and aftershave. They make a lot of other products that sound nice as well. It's has some great ingredance, it's cheap , and can be found at walmart, target, you name it. And they make a female line (I'm going to get Mrs Badger some) as well as a male line. The story behind the company is a good story as well. Just check out the site and read up on them.

Sometimes, shower shaving is all that one does (given the choice). The extra beard hydration really can't be beaten. :D

I do like the Shea Moisture products. The shave butter and facial scrub is a regular part of my rotation.
The shave butter is a rather polarizing product—folks either seem to love it or despise it.

I did see the products mentioned by you on here too. At first I thought I was the first to discuss this one. Then after I had the thread all ready i type She Moisture in the search on here. All man its been talked about lol. Oh well I did it anyway.
I have the butter and its alright but, I don't love it. Its just kinda in my back up product shelf lol. I thought it was great to see that the soap bar is made for the laddies too so I plan on getting my wife that one.
So, I think for what it is and where you can get it and for the price these products are awesome.

I've never shaved in the shower. Although I like the idea it just doesn't seem to be something I'd enjoy. I'm sporting a stash right now, keeping it even in the shower would be difficult for me.

I have a goatee so I understand what you are saying. I have a shaving mirror that hooks to the water which keeps it from fogging up and it works pretty good for me to shave with. Now shower shaving is a rare thing for me. I only do it once in a while. I really like standing in front of a sink giving a good shave lol. The point of all this is that if you are going to shave in the shower the bar is a really awesome product to use. As a matter of fact you don't need to use a brush like I do. When i put it in my hair as a shampoo i get a really nice lather that you could just move to your face lol. I don't know what I didn't add that to the thread. :)

I get it. Using a bar just isn't the same thing as using a soap/cream and whipping up your lather with a brush.

No its not but this product really does lather just as well as my VDH luxury shave soap but not as nice as my other soaps and defiantly not as good as my creams. My favorites so far have been the stuff from C&E but I haven't been at it very long.

Not for me. If I don't have time to take my time and shave as I usually do, I don't have time to shave.
I never have, nor ever plan to, shave in the shower. Just not my thing.

Everybody has there preferences. Mine is also to shave outside the shower but, every now and then I don't mind and enjoy it. My wife doesn't have much of a choice so the bar is nice for her lol.

Easily solved by a shaving mirror in the shower. :D

It takes me about half an hour to shave.
I'm not about to let the water run for that long.
