1. I'd probably go with the Mug/Gillette Brush combo myself.
  2. GET THEM !!! Don't take my word for it...Check out what the experts have to say to say..You did good to put the pics....And congrats on the GEM...;)
  3. Nice pick up with the Gem. :happy088:
  4. IMO stuff in the last pic is way over priced.

You have a nice kit as it is, I would spend some time with it and start to figure out what you like and don't like. You got some pretty good deals especially on the the OS mug / soap combo and the fat boy. If anything, I would send that frameback off to Glen and see what he can do for it.

    Happy shaving.

  5. I thought so too, which is why I put the pic/prices up here. I just couldn't see spending 26 on a kinda ratty brush, when I could put that towards a new one. I'm stoked over the deals I already got, but I love to keep looking lol. I've gotta slow down on that a bit, since I'm already in contact with Glen and discussing the repairs for the SR's. Thanks for all the feedback guys!:)

  6. Great price for the Micromatic... watch this video for Micromatic and other single-edge razor usage tips:

I personally thought that the prices were a little high for the stuff in the last picture. If that Ever-Ready razor is in pristine shape, it'd be worth $19 in my opinion, otherwise not over $15 at the most. I'd pay $10 or maybe 12 for the Ever-Ready brush if it says badger on the bottom of the brush. Did you say there was a lather-catcher there, or were you thinking that Ever-Ready razor in the picture was a lather-catcher. If so, it isn't, it's a 1912-type Ever-Ready, which is still a good SE razor, just not as pricey as a lather-catcher. Hope this helps.
  7. I was thinking the 1912 was a lather-catcher, but after visiting the store again, i noticed it wasn't. All of this has been extremely helpful!
