I'm a total creature of habit - I use the same mug every day for coffee. I even have two of them and keep them at different locations so I can always use it For me, it's the Klean Kanteen vacuum insulated 16oz tumbler and I love it for both warm and cold drinks. 18/8 food grade steel. BPA free. Keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks warm for a long time and the outside never sweats or gets cold/warm. Love the brushed steel. It even compelled me to for some time ago join their 'say no to plastics'-pledge for a month where I didn't use any disposable containers or utensils. Here's mine: How about you?
I have several but this is the one I enjoy most. Fire-King "D-Ring" philbe mug from the mid-1940s. Gave a quarter for it at a junk shop. The ivory tone isn't as common as the white milk glass, and there's also a fairly unusual clear version that would be nice for tea. I read somewhere these were also often used as shaving mugs but I don't see how there's enough room to whip the brush. Anyway, that's mine. Now if you'll excuse me I gotta go fill it up.
I like that. For some years, I've used this for travel. Hasn't failed me yet. My only complaint is that it could be bigger but I see where a larger version is out now.
I like my coffee in a cup. usually in a love my grandpa cup. then I get water all day in a Clearwater beach or a Guy Harvey tumbler
I drink more coffee at work so when I'm at home I just grab whatever is in the cupboard. I just replaced my go to coffee mug of almost 7 years. Above was my go to mug for around 7 years, its replacement is below.
Don' t mind the messy counter. This is my weekend mug. It's part of a series of pictures done by a local artist of Portland, and Oregon in general, during various fictional apocalypse type events. This one is called Oregon Coast Zombie Apocalypse.
My usual morning 'go-to' mug. I have probably a half-dozen of these both here and at the office. We ordered seven hundred as giveaways to new members and for special events. Initially, I wasn't keen on the tapered shape (thought it might be top-heavy or 'tip-happy'), but my concerns were unfounded. The black matte finish is quite nice and the oversized handles are perfect for us big-mitted coffee drinkers.
