a little experiment today, the Gillette adjustable gave me a very good shave, but I don't find it as forgiving as a Parker.

Result: 4.6/5.0 Near BBS and no irritation. I had tried about 6-7 different ways to pull lather out of these soaps without success. I changed my approach and treated it like a no lather/brushless cream. I'm glad I did. It worked out great that way.

It's funny how once we were hooked on this we started to look forward to our next shave. I shave in the morning and then when I'm putting my stuff away, I scan everything to see what I want for tomorrow and pull it to the front. Unless, of course, I change my mind during the next 24 hours because of a whim or more likely someone here posts how great their shave came out and you want to try that.
