Shredded Beef

    Description:
    2 lbs of Beef
    A can of Beer
    2 Onions

    Time: 24 hours
    Difficulty: Easy
    Serving Size: N/A

    Ingredients:
    2 lbs Beef
    2 onions
    Optional: 1/2 quart of minced tomatoes

    Preparation:
    Peel and dice the onions
    Dice the beef

    Instructions:
    in a cast iron pot; sweat the onion in oil and butter!
    Brown the beef with the onion.

    Pour a can of beer over your beef and onions. [If you add tomatoes, add them at the beginning of the cook!] Cook under lid for 24 hours on low heat!

    Serve with nachos and sourcream!

    Stupid question but what cut of beef? Sounds really good though!

    Chuck or flank or bottom round. Nothing expensive. If you use a tough cut it will become tender over the 24 hour period.
