I certainly did miss your sarcasm, lmao! I've never even seen the movie, but I am sure someone loved it. Your penalty......wear a white leisure suit for 10 years & twalk like Travolta da whole tiiiime. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
Never seen any of them but I will use my imagination. Face off: ey check dis out I ken take ma face off. Dats crazy right? Broken arrow: ey check dis out, its a broken arrow. Dats crazy right? Sword fish: ey dubbel J I drink 7 & 7 cuz 12 is ma favorite numba....look a sword fish dats crazy right? I'm sure they're available on Ebay, along with with platform shoes...you can find anything on Ebay. Only if the word is crap! And lets not forget the ever growing trend of destroying once great movies by remaking them for the newer generations. Seriously Walking Tall starring 'The Rock'? Papillon, are you kidding me? What's next Citizen Cane starring Vin Diesel? Cool Hand Luke starring Topher Grace? Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
They'd better not destroy The Great Escape or Bridge On The River Kwai. Those babies are too classic to destroy.
The great escape starring Johnny Knoxville Yeah.... Yeah why not they put the Big Lebowski in a poor remake of True Grit Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
Some say it's because they've run out of ideas, pointing to endless remakes and reboots as evidence of this. But that's just the symptom, not the problem. The bigger, simpler reason is that Hollywood has become so hungry for big money that they're only willing to roll the dice on what they think is the surest bankable film, with the more recent twist that it also must appeal to the broadest global audience. So actual intelligent, fresh, but smaller ideas that would work fine get rejected in favor of, say, a third or fourth Batman "re-envisioning" or big monsters and robots relaunch. It's been this way for a few decades but the recent trend in multifilm blockbuster saga "universes" has made it worse.
Superb film. Perhaps one of the best films ever made. It is an absolute masterpiece. Turned Hollywood and the industry upside down JT is fantastic in it as well.
Lol it was a joke referring to bad remakes with even worse so called "stars" they havent remade the great escape yet. I know the movie well my friend....I have it on both blue ray & dvd. Mcqueen was the man! It was ok in my opinion, but I didn't find Travolta's performance to be anything impressive, memorable, or better than usual. True enough. Here is the story behind this thread. Shortly before posting this I found a blue-ray on the sidewalk while walking my dog at about 3 am and it turned out to be Gotti starring John Travolta, and foolishly I watched it. After viewing this master-piece, I put it back in its case, opened my front door and flung it like a frisbee...and some time later started this thread. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
Ok everybody I am about to take one for the team. Found A Travolta movie on one of the Roku channels and I'm gonna watch it. Domestic Disturbance. Why? Cuz he had to be good in something....maybe. Let you know how it was later Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
Update it wasn't good. Synopsis; Travolta was divorced and he fixed boats or something, and his ex-wife Married some rich guy & the rich guy threw baseballs at Travolta's kid. Then the rich guy killed somebody...I think Travolta saved the day in the end, or something like that. To be honest I lost interest very quickly and surfed the internet through the entire movie. I don't think I have a future as a movie critic, but I give this movie 2 thumbs down and 2 middle fingers straight up. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
I will sign this petition only if we erect a monument to Nick Cage in the front of the reflection pool in DC at least 1/2 the size of The Washington Monument Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How about if I just hire Nick Cage to stand there instead? He works cheap these days. I could probably also get Jerry Mathers to come over and wash your car...he works for food. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
