Have narrowed my search to either the Muhle or Edwin Jagger synthetic and need some advice. 1. Is the Muhle worth the extra cost? (+$25 for M, + $35 for L) 2. 21mm or 23 mm knot? Pros and cons of each? Thanks!
Can't say that I've used either, but if was buying one, I'd buy the one I like the looks of. I know "pretty" doesn't whip lather, but given two similar items, most folks will grab the one that looks nice to them. For me, I've found I like a 22mm +/- 2mm, so in my book, either one. Again, given the choice, I'd go 23mm just because I like to make too much lather!
I have the Muhle black synthetic, and love it. What's the difference between it and the Silvertip synthetic?
