Anyone know of good products (for face and head) that have a scent similar to L'Occitane Cade? I have always loved that scent but it's hard to find around here, and pricey as well. Would love to know if there are other products out there with a similar smell... sort of cedar-y. Thanks in advance!
From the TSD Store: TSD Blue Juniper matches the CADE. TSD Cedarwood is just plain great. I have and love both.
I haven't tried Cade yet but TSD soaps are top-notch performers. I'd be interested to hear a comparison.
I have the Csde and many TSD soaps. They are both great - lather easy, good glide and cushion. Nice scent.
Update: bought the sample sizes of Blue Juniper splash and Cedarwood splash from the Store. I will let everyone know how they compare to L'Occitane's Cade splash once they arrive... Which hopefully will be soon! They are certainly less expensive than L'Occitane. Update: apparently, L'Occitane no longer even carries the after shave splash! They (and Amazon) now only sell the EDT ($55) or the after shave balm ($34, in a tube... Which I also do not prefer). They also don't seem to carry the Cade Energizing Face Gel any more, either. Bummer. They do still have the shaving oil, which I liked once upon a time but haven't bought since, and they sell a puck of 3.5oz Cade soap ($12, which seems reasonable compared to other high-end soap pucks). http://usa.loccitane.com/cade,82,1,39181,0.htm?search=Cade Guess I will have to hope that the Blue Juniper splash here is an equal or superior substitute!
