I just heard from her...she wasn't sure, but said she thought it was some guy from Texas. :rofl Seriously, I did ask that. With Hannah, sometimes it takes a while to get an answer. But then, you already knew that, didn't you Isaac?
Unfortunately, it wasn't me... You guys are a bit behind the times, I've known about this for a few weeks now. However, I'm not at liberty to discuss details. So I'll keep my mouth shut for now :ashamed001
You're doing the right thing... I've seen what those Simpson guys do to people who can't keep their mouths shut.
Yeah, I think Mike must have a hand in this somehow. Can't imagine why he couldn't say anything otherwise. If I knew, I'd tell you! And if I find out, I'll tell you.
Well heck, I didn't want to let all the details out since I promised not to, but the news is pretty much all out on another forum. The new owner of Simpson is in fact, Vulfix. Many conversations have already been had that I've heard about, and the owner, Philip Waterson is insisting that they plan to maintain the same design specs as Simpsons always has. Just how closely remains to be seen I guess. I'll definately be the first in line to try one out when they roll off the production line. Most will probably be a bit skeptical because Vulfix makes "floppy" brushes for the most part. However, I am pretty confident that they know what they are doing. They make a heck of a lot of brushes and really do turn out some quality work. If you check out my den inventory, you'll see I own several of them. From my understand they are a pretty darn sophisticated manufacturing operation. Now we just have to see if they can maintain the traditional standards.
I wonder if you will be able to easily tell the difference between the new and the old... "Vintage" Simpson sales and such..
If the lamp-black stamping starts to look even and uniform and all in the same font... that will be the dead giveaway.
Nice going pardner!!!! I believe your words to me were..." dude you can't say anything...I promise not to tell and now you have to promise too"...or something along those lines Reminds of the Bush Baked beans commercials:happy102 roll that beautiful brush footage!!
