Single Ring Old Type?

If so, I think I'm finally going to be happy with one (so long as it doesn't have a cracked handle).

Looks just like the one I sold at B&B. I think it is supposed to have the metal blade cases, 2 of them. Those are good shavers but they are aggresive.

 

Yeah, metal blade boxes are missing - hope to find some down the road and give the case a good cleaning as well.

Must have been yours I saw when trying to ID this one lol.

Hehe... yeah, I've done something similar with 2 others so far, both had hairline cracks in the handles.

 

I did not think that would effect the shaves. You just looking for a collector one?

You guessed it.

And I think you're right, both were still very solid.

 

If there are hairline cracks in the handle simply remove the head and end plugs.

Clean.

Replace with a does of marine epoxy. Fixes cracks and stabilizes the razor.
