slant

Received my slant today. Would like to thank Bill(aka Barry). Gonna try it with a feather blade today will keep you posted.

 

Great investment. As you know, perform xtra beard prep and use slow light strokes.

I had one, but sold it not too long after getting it. It was just a tad too aggressive for me. I'll be honest and admit it may have been just because I was still fairly new with a DE. My technique may not have been what it is now. Wish I had it still so I could experiment with it.

Through that, and many similar comments on the shaving boards, I've learned that if I don't like something the first, or even second time I use it, stash it away for a while and come back to it later. Many have and discovered that with improved technique or different blades, or for what ever reason, they now really like what ever it was they disliked earlier.

 

Well the first shave went great. Little bit of razor burn, but all and all was great. I think im gonna try a milder blade next time.
