I just bought a Heljestran blade today, and I need some scales. I know all about classicshaving selling them, along with several other sites. But I was wondering if anyone has any spares laying around they would be willing to part with for cheap.

Basically I'm begging. But I figured it was worth a shot :D

Its not a matter of just buying scales and slapping them on. You have to measure the distance from the center of the pivot hole to the farthest point on the other end of the razor. This will usually be the toe of the razor but that won't always be true. that will make sure the scales are neither too short or too long for your razor.

I can help you out, most likely

I need the measurement from the pivot hole to the end of the toe or the longest part of the round nose what ever is longest...

And I need to know the size of the razor as in 5/8 or 6/8 etc and the brand and grind...
