Glad to be back to TSD with an offering of unusual & effective bakelite razors & a few user grade razors that are great shavers and priced as shaver-grade (rather than collector-grade) razors. Hope you find something here you'll like. PM interest -- and payment via Paypal. First up is this totally plastic or bakelite razor -- no metal anywhere I can see on this simple design. Weighs very little so it requires some finesse to get a good & close shave. Excellent for traveling. Offered for $15 delivered in N. America. SOLD Next is another bakelite razor with a metal screw for attaching the head to the handle. In a Gillette case that seems to fit perfectly, but this is not likely a Gillette-made razor. Slightly heavier than the 1st razor, but still a very light and simple razor. Offered for $19 delivered in N. America SOLD Next is a bakelite slant razor -- relatively heavy -- compared to the previous 2 -- and bulkier than usual bakelite razors. It is a slant design with a flaw that will be displayed in several of the photos below. A very unusual and nicely designed no-name razor. (Perhaps someone knows its name.) If you've been wanting to try out a slant, here's a unique one. You can see that a corner of the section under the metal plate has been chipped. It doesn't affect the shave at all -- but it is unfortunately no longer perfect. You can also see this chipped section in this photo. Offered for $25 delivered in N. America. SOLD Next is a fat handled tech in a bakelite or plastic case. This set is in very good shape but the head doesn't seem to polish up perfectly. Nonetheless this razor is the excellent Tech design -- better than most of the modern DE razors and a real classic among us traditionalists. Looks pretty shiny, but not perfect. Great design and decent heft with the fat handled Tech. Offered for $25 delivered in N. America. And finally here's an ABC Old Style Pocket Edition frankenrazor. Great case, blade holder, and handle -- but the head is from a Tech. Sorry it is not the whole picture and I hope you can find a replacement head (maybe you already have one). The handle is slightly brassed but no split -- it is solid. And the case is missing its catch so it will not actually latch shut. Nonetheless it is a beautiful case. How disappointing when I saw that mismatched head. Offered for $49 delivered in N. America. SOLD
