This won't take up much space here 'cause I used most of it up on my about ME page on eBay. The page actually started two years ago. Some of you may have seen the first half of it. After giving the page a haf-fass once-over a couple years ago, I pretty much left it alone until now. I think I basically did it originally for therapy so I wouldn't want to kick my dog after spending any time on eBay. After selling a damascus razor recently, my ole buddy Loy showed up again to mess with me again. Anyway, it's lengthy. If you have the patience to read it all, you might be mildly entertained. Bill, Thanks for the laughs!!! I guess one way rid this world of "Loy's" is to implement stricter incest laws as we can all see what the result of such unholy unions can bring into this world!!!!! I could actually visualized him speaking through his one tooth and unibrow btw I have a goldfish that can write, speak and write at a higher level than our friend Loy. I'm actually amazed he can even distinguish the letters on the keyboard...heck I'm amazed he knows how to use a keyboard!!!! ok I'll stop now...anyways thanks for the laughs...sorry you had to deal with such individuals. Bill, I enjoyed reading that even more the 2nd time around. Had to laugh out loud when you got labeled in the boilerplate on all his listings and BAND! I think Loy has a cousin up in Canada who sold me a couple of very bad razors. Visualize a Boker king cutter with the lower hollow grind reworked on a 4" side grinder. The auction price was low but shipping was high, they weren't even worth the cost of return shipping for a refund so I never got farther than an illiterate rant from him on how that razor was so sharp he cut his finger on it and thus was in excellent condition. Same low feedback scenario too. P.S. I had to vote for your boy Gabriel. Like the saying goes - never argue with a moron, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
That's a big +1 from me! Bill, you can work magic with blades, so I know you can safely bid on the junkers and make them like new. Me? I just wouldn't have bid on anything like that without super clear pictures and a better, more accurate description (mostly because of your previous posts "schooling" me on what I should look for. ) As for the aftermath, I'd say you did a great job of trying to make your points. And the mudheads you were dealing with are great examples of what is so wrong with our ed-u-ca-shun system.
As a high school English teacher, I have to accept my share of the blame. In my defense, however, by the time Gabriel Loy or his equivalent makes it to the ninth grade, it is hard to teach them anything. I have kids like that in my classes every year. Talk about challenging work! Norm
I voted for Bill, but only on the basis of a moral victory. The trouble with the Loy's of this world is that they don't realise that they HAVE been beaten. Loy got to keep a few dollars, but has paid with it with 2 years of bitter and twisted anger and aggression. Clearly not a pipe smoker. I'd rather be in Bill's shoes than Loy's.
Oh, I know! Believe me. Once I get 'em at our two-year college, they still haven't figured it out. And I get to teach them history, which is something they REALLY don't think they need.
I had read the first part of that some time ago, the additions are a riot. Every new Ebay member should read this before they begin the journey. Just when I thought it was safe to go back to Ebay........... I don't think Gabriel T Loy is lacking education, he's lacking something else... Keep up the good work Bill!
