I normally shave WTG, XTG & ATG.
Today I only shaved WTG & XTG and my face is sore but not red and no bumps, i used normal pre shave, shave and post shave routine, lather was thick and the GSB was one shave old.

    First time this has happened.

A one off, too much pressure perhaps?

    Any advice much appreciated

I have been using this razor for around 2 months and shave every 2 to 3 days

    Is that a spoof ad?

It reminds me of Henry Cooper advertising Brut.... splash it all over

Even good brands can have the occasional dud.

I tried again on Thursday, same set up but with a new Minora blade, all was OK

Today with same set up and same Minora blade, irritation again.

When I applied the Proraso green balm it really stung and my face has felt warm all day.

I'm sure the balm isn't supposed to sting

I think it might be, will eliminate everything else out, just needed confirmation from another razor user.

    Thanks

I used the same razor and blade but used Palmolive cream and Nivea balm, the irritation is gone, something in one of the Proraso products, I think pre shave was causing the problem.
