Prep: Soak brush and razor while in warm shower
    Background noise: Nothing
    Razor: Slim Adj. on 5
    Blade: Gillette Stainless
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Cream: Proraso Sandalwood
Post: C/W rinse and Proraso AS

This is the first time that I have tried to lather cream in the mug. I did not do a very good job. Brush was a little to wet I think. But the scent of the cream and feel was amazing. ( Thank you Justin ). Did two passes WTG for a decent shave.

Sad news for todays shave.....I had a great shave but thats only the good part......the bad part is.....I had one of my favorite mugs set up for rotation today (I bought it at an antique mall for 1 dollar and it had a small crack down the side that had been mended back together) then I decide to mash down the rest of my Arko shave stick into the mug.......needless to say it was just too much for the old mug to take.....well I say old mug but in fact it was one of those old soup bowls with the handles on em......yea...it broke....I cut fingers up....no bueno....I miss my bowl already. So I had to put all my Arko in my little blue and green VDH bowl which I must say is a fantastic little bowl! But im still a bit distraught!

    Thanks for asking Steve!

I am doing better, went back to work five days after the surgery. I still have some pain, especially when I've eaten something that doesn't want to stay down. I pulled all my incisions pretty good Thursday evening after I found out the hard way that refined sugar will be a no-no going forward.

The one type of food that doesn't make me sick ... Chinese ... who would of thunk it! ;)

Your body will take a while to adjust to its new normal.
One food I don't want much after the removal and use to love is Onion Rings. It is very rare for me to have them now.
Onions are fine other ways, but I just don't have a desire for Onion Rings like I use to.

    Saturday

    Prep: Hot shower
Razor: Webber 3-piece DLC head with bulldog handle
    Blade: Lord Platinum
Soap/Cream: Herbaria Bay Rum & Jojoba
Brush: Ever-Ready 100 with TGN Finest Badger
    AS: Captians Choice Bay Rum

    Results: DFS,

Could have been better but this was my first use of the Herbaria shaving soap and I didn't have the best lather. I'll have to work on lathering this soap.
This was the third use of the Weber DLC razor and I'm really liking the balance and feel of the razor.

Absolutely beautiful shave from this razor, one of two straights i own with full hollow ground blades, or singing blades as some people like to call them, and they are without doubt the sharpest razors i've ever owned for a traditional straight, now the Feather AC - SS is another matter.
