Wonderful birthday shave. Got a BBS shave with my Mechanical servants razor on a Gillette tech handle with an astra SP blade. I've recently come to quite enjoy arko and found it lathers beautifully with any brush type this is my first stick and I'll definitely be buying more once this runs out! Have a wonderful day! Indeed. Fields & Streams is another really creative scent from Rob at Local Gent. His interpretation of scents are interesting. Haven't you gone thru a tub Paul? Lol If so you know Local Gent is good stuff. Have you tried their balms? They are excellent and come in a thick blue glass bottle, good ingredients, and is certainly a dense product (so your not paying for water) and the scent are identical and seem to have a bit better longevity than most balms (can still catch whiffs of it hours later).
As for finishing a tub, I'm getting close to doing that with my Fields&Streams. I'm quite pleased with that one-well, it's been my ONLY LG so far. Maybe 2, 3 shaves to go is my prediction. Thanks for the info on the balms...will certainly give them more attention. Was it you I told that Rob e-mailed me saying Fields&Streams was his favorite?

Tonight's shave was with a newly acquired, restored, and honed razor. I had a fantastic 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. Razor- Kinfolk's, Blue Steel Special. Brush- B400 By Tom. Whipped Dog Boar Knot. 6 hairs lost. Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Scented Aftershave- Avon Spicy. Avon Dueling Pistol Decanter.

First shave with the Gibbs Adjustable No17 that I acquired over a month ago but just got around to using it. Excellent blade feel but still oh so smooth. Not the prettiest example, more user grade as it has some wear and tare to the knurling on the handle and top cap. Plus it’s missing the red level setting indicator. No biggie. Shaves absolutely perfect. For adjustable lovers, this is probably as good as it gets. Seriously, this is a must try and have razor. Just awesome! Have a great evening and shaves Gents....
