I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #284 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Pal Injecto-Matic Razor with a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Continuing my sampling of Coates creams. Up today is the Lavender. Very nice scent. Kind of surprised that the cream was lavender tinted. As with the others I've used so far (Tea Tree & Lime) plenty of rich, creamy lather. Great post shave feel. Still have the Almond & Rose to try out.

Brush: Honey Farm Designs/TGN Premium Silvertip-24mmx50mm
Aftershave: Stirling Sandpiper w/Menthol

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Route 66 Bourbon Jungle Forest today. 20 seconds to load the Honey Farm/TGN Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Platinum in the Gillette Black Handle Super Speed. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Sandpiper aftershave.

A very lekker and comfy shave - lekker in Dutch and Afrikaans means nice or cool, or pleasant. The Wilkinson stick smells great, it lathers so easily and it has a good post-shave feeling. The Nip Man balm cools and moisturizes very well also.

A simple 2 pass shave, WTG/ATG with clean up after each pass, no nicks or weepers, just smooth sailing from start to finish. An outstanding shave. A cold water rinse, topped with afta AS, resulted in a top notch performance, Happy Camper. God Bless.

Daydreaming at work, I was thinking I hadn't used a full sized brush nor a DE in quite a while.
Got home, fully determined to use both, then I remembered I had compared the L2 to the DeHaven, so had to see if I was right (any excuse).
I was wrong, I find this razor as smooth but more efficient than the DeHaven.
