Here's wishing I had tried RazoRock XXX aftershave splash a lot sooner. Just love the scent and the post shave feel is top notch. Very masculine scent IMO. I do have the soap as well.

  4. 83D58259-17B1-406E-8ABD-DB986A99EFFB.jpeg Saturday morning:

    L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Wilkinson Long Handle/Wilkinson day 3
    Bundubeard Kudu’s Kick SS
    Prep ASB
    Krampert’s Frostbite AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel EdT

I’m really enjoying my new Wilkinson long Handle a lot and the Wilkinson blade as well. It’s a very easy razor to use and it’s pretty mild, although as I said once before it’s slightly more aggressive than my Super Speed. The Kudu soap lathered like a beast, it gave me plenty of menthol chill, and I enjoyed its wonderful coffee/peppermint scent. The Prep and the Krampert’s Frostbite aftershave were a perfect finishing. BBS in two glorious passes!

  6. This morning I used a couple more items from the box to see if I liked them.
The little travel brush is a good one, so I'll add that to the list. Appears to be badger, however, I could be wrong.

The Gillette super thin platinum are just o.k. blades. They shave, and they work, but neither the sharpest nor the smoothest either. All in all I've used worst blades (here's looking at you Dorco)

Lastly, I keep coming back to this scuttle.
I am head over heals in love with it, makes life a lot easier especially on those quick mornings where I'm running late.

I have 2 more video shaves with the products, and I'm saving my coolest one for tomorrow. Plan on seeing my putting in video Wednesday.

Thanks for letting me play along, it has been awesome!

  15. Thank you Douglas! I love the Fatip Grande. Keep coming back to it as it's efficient to the max and works well with several blade brands.

  18. Razor: Gillette Fat Boy Adjustable (G3) 1961
Blade: Personna 74 Tungsten Steel (8)
Brush: Jayaruh JR #45 Walnut Honey Comb Handle. Knot is an Ace 24/70 Synthetic.
    Soap: Nuàvia - Blu
    A/S: Myrsol F/Extra

Excellent 2 pass shave with these products. The JR #45 whipped up the soap into a great lather. I know, it snowed yesterday, however, it is the first time I've been able to find this stump in months. :)

  19. Nicely framed pic! BTW, I see that those wild turkeys have either left the vicinity or ended up on a few dinner plates.
  20. Thank you very much. About the Turkey's, yes, and yes. :)
