    I like Snake Bite and Kramperts Finest, but adding a fair amount of menthol crystals to the Thayers really steps it up a notch.

    The TABAC Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #59 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the German Travel razor with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    I've enjoyed this razor so far, and have learned that I must prep my face good and apply a dense, creamy, and slick lather. If not, the bunny will not feel as comfortable.

    I really do love Sherlock! Great scent, very slick!! Now about my brush. I totally LOVE my new brush!! I love the Ever-Ready 100T old school handle style, and the Shave Revolution knot is one of my favorites. Thanks to you!! :)

    MONDAY
    Evening Shave for Tomorrow
    Day 5 of 'Japanese Razors Week'— tonight I used a lovely vintage King Pelican western-style razor. This razor has a uniquely shaped, slightly shorter blade (vs the normal 3" length) that I find extremely comfortable to use—especially around tight spaces. After two days using a traditional kamisori, this shave was a relative breeze! Super-sharp and smooth edge. Neasr-BBS in three passes. no blood, no rough patches. wonderful shave!
