My own Menthol Monday and first shave of the week was a wee bit less intense on the Menthol side, only the shave soap I’ve used contained a discrete dose of menthol:

Very nice, I really enjoyed this shave which was a slow 1-pass XTG affair with DFS results.

This was the first time I used the FS synthetic which has a higher loft than brushes I am accustomed to. It is much better than the Omega synthetic I used to have, however I DO like the menU synthetic which has a much higher price point. The FS performed very well and is excellent value for money.
Today's shave was invigorating to put it mildly!!!! An excellent 3 pass shave. I will decide on a cologne after my pre night duty sleep

Great start for a Monday and my first time using this blade. It was a little rough at first but smoothed out when I got to the second leg. Of course, that can be attributed to me not shaving with this type of razor for a week!

I totally forgot about menthol Monday this morning. Maybe I will have to have a menthol Tuesday instead. Today's shave was great. I love the scent of the TOBS Jermyn Street; it's intoxicating. The black ninja sliced through my whiskers with ease and after three passes, except for about a 1/2 patch on my neck, I was left with a BBS shave. Great way to start the week. The ISZ preshave balm is great and the Vostok soap is probably the most face freezing soap I've used so far.If there's something with more freeze let me know The Cobra gave me another outstanding face and head shave.It was a toss up between The Rub and The Penguin,but after the Vostok only The Rub with some 444 goodness would do

This was my first shave in five days. The Stephan SC really lubed up my beard as a pre-shave. It was hard to pick a razor to tackle a full beard with this morning. But I could of swore I heard my Ever-Ready talking to me from my den cabinet (I know I'm not alone). I loaded a blade in "her" and began to shave. Oh boy, the sound of a SE Gem blade slicing a beard is like a scythe rushing through the air hitting blades of grass. It made easy work of the growth. Two passes later I was BBS! Who said older is not better? Could a three or five blade high modern cartridge blade performed that?

 

Corinne loves Angel perfume also - it really suits her. I think it's her favorite. The men's version is not too good for me. Strange, because swarthy coloring generally suits that kind of fragrance. By the way, how are you feeling?
