    Post: Cold water rinse, Osage Rub, Brut cologne, hand strop blade
    'Stache Wax: Firehouse Wacky Tacky

    Shave Rating: 5 Blades

    Another great shave.
    I'm going to try a Gillette THIN blade tomorrow; E-4 date code. The only other vintage blade I've used is the Segal and it didn't impress me at all.

    It's a pity that this Palmolive Menthol cream from Egypt smells so lousy because otherwise it's so fantastic. The cooling effect is very powerful, the lather is terrific like all Palmolive creams, and the skincare is very, very good. ;):biggrin:

    This was a fantanstic shave, three passes and DFS. That was the last of my osage rub sample, and I will have to replenish it. I really like that stuff.

    Second shave with my new Merkur Futur. The first shave was a disaster, my face looked like I had a bad case of road rash. Not the razors fault. I was in a hurry. Mom had fell out of her wheelchair and the nursing home was rushing her to hospital for a ct scan. She was in better shape than my face! Tonight was more relaxed and I got a bbetter result.

    Merkur Futur razor with Merkur blade
    Merkur Futur silvertip
    Tabac soap
    Alum block
    Gillette a/s gel

    3 passes, although I'm not sure I needed the third pass. I think I will like this razor, it's just going to take a little getting used to.

    Brush: Hogs hair custom by Cyclelu​
    AS: Musgo Real​

    Results: Quick two passes and on my way to the office. I treated the Cella to four drops of glyrerin to improve thickness and it worked; love the Musgo although it is not my summer time favorite. HOG​
