First time using the TSN LE Brush. I used Tweex soap as it has the classic Arko smell and masked the 'new brush smell'. On its first run out....the brush performed admirably. Dense but not too dense, and I love the size. It blows my Vulfix Grosvenor 404 out of the water! The only downside for today, is that my sons go back to their home this evening.
An excellent 3 pass BBS.

I was hoping to use my Dovo Bismarck this morning, but my wife begged last night me to take my sister-in-law and brother-in-law to the airport this morning to catch an early flight to Florida, so I settled on the next best thing and I still got an outstanding shave. I swear, this Proraso Sandalwood cream is magnificent - the scent blows me away, the lather is awesome, and the skincare is wonderful. The Gillette Series balsam is very cooling and moisturizing, and the De Vergulde Hand aftershave is a true delight. Sorry, no photos today.

I was going to make this a Pitralon day but as I was lathering it hit me,Mama Bear's Iceburg Ice smells alot like Veleiro splash.It has a very marine scent and is mentholated,but not quite as much as some of the other Mama Bear soaps.Great 2 pass face,1 pass head from the snake,BBS all around.

 

Gerry, the most mentholated soap from Mama Bear is the Awakenings. That one is absolutely frigid!

This is what I like to shave with. It's kind of a no name hardware company branded razor. It took a fine edge and gave a great shave. It's unmarked as to country of origin and only has Hackett Hardware, St. Paul, Minn.

I GOT IT! For the first time I got a very comfortable and secure feeling shave with the dreaded Muhle. (the 2011 version) It has really been bugging me that I couldn't feel comfortable with this razor. I knew it was a blade angle issue but, every logical angle I used tried to eat my face off. I did some research (it's been too blasted hot to do anything outside so I have some time around the computer) and noticed a video by geofatboy. Along with the standard "how to make lather, put a blade in the razor, prep your face, etc. along with selling a product or two" he started shaving. The angle that he used showed the head almost 90 degrees from the face. I would never have "scrapped" it accross my face like that but at the speed he was going it had to work! I gave it a go at that angle this morning and got an outstanding shave with no irritatiion, nicks or cuts whatsoever! The ASL felt like water on my BBS face. Go figure! Looks like I will be keeping the little shark mouth monster after all.

A rare morning shave for me. I enjoy a morning shave on weekends but in order to do so, it means I have to miss the shave the night before so I don't do it often. Last night, due to unwelcome events in our home, I was dead tired and just not in the mood to shave last night so I enjoyed the shave this morning. Now...to face the day...

 

Oh Yeah !!! Lime Ice and Lemon Ice are up there too,not quite as frigid as Awakenings,but close.I went thru a stick of Awakenings pretty quick,this time I got a tub

 

I also have a tub of Lemon Ice soap, and I love it!

 

Looks like another one has fallen for that "little shark mouth monster"..... That monster seems to be becoming a new classic....What do you think ? Will this be the one from 2012 that everyone will be looking for 50 years from now...
