    Almost BBS on 3 passes. As in the past, 4 great shaves is my limit with a Feather, with #2 and 3 usually being the best.

    Great shave. Face-lathering, cold water splash and here it is. Nice and smooth.

    Wednesday 15 December
    Nice long hot shower, my Parker badger brush was warming up, my TSD Soap was warming in the sink.
    I prepped my face with Johnson Baby Oil. nice warm decandant lather whipped up with the Parker brush.
    I choose a Gillette Fat Boy for today's shave with a Shark blade for today's shave. The first pass the was dailed in at #6, the second and touch-ups were dailed in at #4.
    Followed with Aqua Vela Blue and Nivea after shave balm.

    Hey Steve, see I'm still alive and kickin'! LOL

    Hey GI, I've been working on the ranch trying to get things ready for the dead of winter before it really sets in. The Masonic and Shrine organizations are really demanding at this time of year as well and I haven't had the time to do the pics and such for the SOS posts so, I drop by from time to time and see how all of my Buds are doing with their shaves. I have aquired some new (actually vintage) DE's and SE's so, I will post their maiden runs when I get them.

    -the best part of my Mach 3 experiment was how it got Bruce out from hiding:D:D:D Todays shave was a perfect anecdote to my horrific yet brief return to the cartridge.

    "Have soapbox will travel" that my creed! LOL You know I can't resist "preaching the gospel" about the evils of the cart and the redemption of the naked blade! LOL Glad that you received the anecdote Danny and avoided falling back into the bottomless cartridge money pit! LOL BTW, that Gillette New is a great shaver! Enjoy! :D
