I think my face will be frozen all week because of the shave I had this morning. The Denu cream and Diana Sport balsam are mega-frigid to the point that some guys might not be able to tolerate them. I'm a menthol freak so I can! :biggrin:

 

I love menthol. Where do you get this stuff?

Day two of blade test and switched to my goto DE: my polished chrome Merkur Futur. The Futur with the Gillette blade delivered a wonderful shave in 2 passes that I stretched to 3 because it was feeling so great! So far, I'm really liking these blades. I just have to see how many shaves I can get out of one before I decide if I'd want to buy 100 of them somewhere down the line (there are only a handful of blades I would buy in bulk)

My shave today consisted of mainly discontinued items. Discontinued items are marked by an *. The recently discontinued iKon H20 loaded with a fresh Super Iridium blade did a great job of whisker whacking. The Simpson Douglas, a favorite, did a fine job of whipping up some tallowy good lather from the vintage Trumper Limes soap. A splash of vintage Yardley aftershave and I am on my way.
