Yeah I picked up the cream and the Eternity yesterday so I was itching to give them a try. In my opinion...AOS is top shelf cream! I recently bought a tub of the Oud...and liked it so much I went back and got the Ocean Kelp.
Went to lunch with a lady friend and first thing she said was how good I smelled! So I guess I picked a winning combination!

when i get back home next Friday. so is there a setting that works better for the twin blade. i can go agressive with no problem , but does it get to tight with a twin on the less aggressive setting? sorry for dumb question as i have not yet ejected a twin out of its magazine. haha

    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Brush - Jayaruh #46
    Post - Alum

Tonight it's time to see what the new Jayaruh #46 can do. Last night's first try with the Stirling was very nice. Tonight, we feed it to the Fat. Mitchell's Wool Fat which is still my favorite soap. It has a bit of a learning curve to get a great lather and I normally nail it with my other brushes. The soap likes to be watered first, then use a brush shaken to almost dry to load and then face lather. With the Maggard Synthetic knot in this brush there will be no soak on the brush. Just on the puck of Mitchell's, then a load with a dry brush.

At first I thought maybe I had made an error. Seemed like it was taking a long time to load and then I looked and realized it was loading just fine. Just no extra bubbles working outside from the excess water. Because there was no excess water from the brush. After about a minute of loading I wet my face and started lathering. Easy, peasy. Nice, slick, cushiony, beautiful lather appeared about as easily as Arko. The first pass with the Fatboy and Voskhod was smooth and very nice. The second lather - just as easy as the first. It just kept lathering out of what looked like a mostly empty brush. Second pass got me to a near-BBS with no irritation and a great feel. So, enough of that. Now let's see what's left in the brush.

Gave it a squeeze and got a handful of lather out of it. Enough for at least one more pass if not two more passes. Incredible! How in the world did it do that? Rinsed it out, shook it out and put it in the brush stand to dry and called it one very nice shave.

Very busy day at work today which is exactly what I wanted. Kept us moving the entire time and we blew away the budget not only for today but for the entire weekend sale. I do work tomorrow for the final day of it but it's all gravy at this point. Tired but very happy here. Hope you had a great weekend too!
