L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :smiley freezing: :smiley freezing:
    #6 Horsehair
    Super Speed/new Permasharp
Italian Palmolive Menthol SC :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    444 AS Balm :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Barbon AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Aramis Stick Deodorant
    Aramis EdT

Although this set-up is considerably milder than the one I used today, it's still very cold. The L'Oreal facial wash has more than enough menthol in it, and the Palmolive Menthol cream is a very good face-freezer in its own right. With the 444 balm you not only get a tremendous cooling sensation, you get a lot of moisturizing and with the Barbon aftershave you freeze your face off and you also smell great! :) :D

    '62 Gillette Slim (7)
    Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

I am really liking this Col. Conk Amber SS, and since I put it in the push up container, it applies to the face straight on. It lathered very easily with the Semogue 1305 boar brush. With two passes and touch ups on the neck of the Gillette Slim and Gillette 7 O'Clock blade, I was clean and smooth. A cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue finished off this great shave.

    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 22mm x 48mm

I decided to start the work week with Tabac. Great shave with the Tabac, Slim, and Red. I finished up with the Tabac EdC.

SOTD Feb 3 -- Blade safari day 3

    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: WW2 Gillette Khaki
Blade: Personna Med Prep (day 3)
    Brush: Vie-Long
    Soap: Proraso Green tub
    Passes: 2 (WTG, XTG)
    Post: Nivea Men cool kick

Great lather from the Proraso, shave was not quite as good though... No nicks or irritation, but beard reduction was lacking. I'll have to wait until tomorrows shave to see if it is technique or blade performance. Either way today's shave could have been closer. I did some ATG touch ups which did help on my face but not my neck.

    Prep: Warm shower, Cetaphil Lotion
    Razor: EJ DE89L
    Blade: Personna Lab Blue (3)
    Soap: C.O. Bigelow
    Brush: Semogue 830
    Post: Witch Hazel, Cetaphil Lotion
    Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman

A great shave to start off the workweek. Since it's my wife's birthday, I asked her to pick my aftershave and she chose Clubman. I know there are a lot of women that don't like Clubman, so this is just one of the thousands of ways that I consider myself to be a very lucky man!

    Have a great day!

Great shave this morning. Le Minet has turned into one of my best razors. It's got the nicest edge and is a smooth shaver. Have a good one.

    Prep: Warm wash
    Razor: Gillette Super Adjustable (3)
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock SP (3)
    Creme: Body Shop Maca Root
    Brush: Omega boar
Post: Cold rinse and Captain's Choice Bay Rum

I deliberately did not use my PSO and I could tell a difference. Maca Root soap made a fine lather, but whiskers were tougher today and face overall was not as slick. Chalk it up to experience. 3 pass shave with 3 weepers where my beard used to be on my chin. Have to toughen up a little.
