Fist time using a Astra SS. During the shave I was thinking meh this blade is nothing special. Finished the shave without incident. Cleaning up with a little witch hazel and noticed, wow I got a really close shave. No sting from the AS and I was smooth! Have a great day my friends

Tonight's shave was with a freshly honed Dubl Duck Dwarf. It was an absolutely flawless shave. These razors live up to their reputation. I did a two pass shave, with no touch-ups, and no nicks, cuts, or weepers. This razor is in my top two, for straights.

I Used a PAL injectomatic for the 1st time tonight. I really enjoyed it & had no nicks. I dont have a schick type E but I have a type G and they seemed the same in agression to me. I have read folks saying the flat handle was awkward but I found it to be nice and helped me keep the proper angle on all 3 passes. Its a beautiful razor!

1. PAA ice pre shave lather booster.
2. sterling lemon chill w/a FINE bowl.
3. PAL injectomatic with a new "Chick" blade.
4. thayers cool astringent.
5. Vintage old spice lime.
6. nivea men balm.

all i have to say is wow, i cant stop feeling my face. i love this pal! actually your shave of the days started my hunt for the pal. thanks for all your injector photos as i look forward to your posts.

Quick shave while out of town this weekend. Didn't shave yesterday and had two days of growth for today. One big pass with touch-ups was fine for a decent shave. The Speick cream is great for travel. I didn't bring a brush this time around and just hand lathered into a slick, protective cream. Very nice.

I've been waiting for this shave. The chance to try the Sharp Star in the Fatboy. Sharp Star is the Moscow blade made only in 2012 for the Asian market (think India, Pakinstan etc.). I've loved the blade since I first tried it and have several hundred in my den. Since it's NOS I have no idea when it will no longer be available in the wild. Which also explains the 300 currently sitting in the main Post Office in Moscow awaiting release to come to Papa. They'll be followed by 200 assorted Moscow blades that you'll hear more about in a couple of weeks. Those whispers and rumors and uneasy feelings you've been having? Yep, the Cartel is moving blades.

Tonight was nothing less than a stellar shave with the Fatboy on 3 and the Sharp Star on board. A little extra luxury with the Silvertip and Tabac that made a rather difficult week at work disappear. The weekend for me is here and this was a great way to start. Two passes and touch up to a very fine DFS, smooth as silk, silent alum....it's all good. Hope your weekend was a great one and that your Monday starts off the right way!
