    Mastro Livi Club 2016

Mastro Livi Club Razor 2016 is simply a breathtaking masterpiece. This special and limited edition was exclusively created for the members of Mastro Livi Club on Google+ and was the result of many polls in which members voted how they wished our club razor should have been. This is the result and I am absolutely mesmerized by its beauty, not to mention by its shaving performance. After all I knew Mastro Livi CarboInox was a superb shaver so I was sure about the result. I also used one of my favorite shaving soaps - Panama 1924 Shaving Soap - which was gorgeously mounted to a super rich lather by this Mastro Livi Badger Brush with the finishing touch of Suavecito Bay Rum. I love genuine Bay Rum scent!
    • Pre-Shave: RazorGuy Pre-Shave Oil
    • Soap: Panama 1924 Shaving Soap
    • Brush: Mastro Livi Badger, Olivo Handle, 22mm Knot
    • Bowl: Gerby Bowl
    • Strop: Mastro Livi Medium Loom Strop "Coramella Italiana" and Hand Palm
    • Razor: Mastro Livi Club Razor 2016 CarboInox, 7/8 Full Hollow, Spanish Point
    • Post-Shave: Alum Block
    • Post-Shave: Argan Oil
    • After Shave: Suavecito Bay Rum

    Smooth Sunday
I really need to get more Lavanille aftershave. It's still my favorite scent. The lather took a little more water than expected, but I haven't used it in a while, so that isn't surprising. My face is comfortable and smells great.
    Prep: Myrsol Emulsion
    Soap: B&M Lavanille
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
    Razor: Merkur Futur on six
    Blade: voskhod
    AS: B&M Lavanille

    Razor: Gillette SS Flare
    Blade: Personna Comfort Coated(4)
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Lather: Proraso Red
    Pre Shave: Homemade
    AS: Nivea AS balm

A very nice 2 pass shave, WTG/ATG. All went swimmingly until the 2nd pass in the corner of my mouth where there is a deep dimple, a pretty good nick. Took a styptic and pressure to make it stop bleeding. Must have caught the blade on part of the crevice. After clean up , you can`t see it. At any rate, I have a really good shave. Not my best effort, but not my worse either. Well pleased, God Bless and my all have a great shave this Sunday.

Thanks Doug. In regards to your bowl, did you get the dot finish or a suribachi finish, cant make out in your pic. If suribachi is it the rough finish or is it glazed inside?
