Wrong blade. Damn feather and their super sharp blades. Everything else was awesome. Ill have to try a regular blade in the razor to get a better idea.

Used the D Injectah today after using the F yesterday. Obvious different handle feel but no issues holding and maneuvering it. I compared the heads and while the F head is bigger the blade gap and exposure seemed identical to my eye. Even so compared to yesterday's shave there in my view is more blade feel for certain in comparison. Still a smooth shave but it definitely feels more aggressive than the F........at least that's my experience with my 2 models (F and D) Can't stop feeling my face as I got a phenomenally close shave. So happy to have this new addition to the collection. Yesterday was some more log clearing on the hillside with these trees all intertwined like a giant game of pick up sticks. Slow going so as not to get pinned while cutting on a steep slope and the new saw is a dream to use. Hoping to get back on the hillside this afternoon but just to burn some branches and limbs so The Woodsman with it's smokey almost ash like scent was a good pick. Thanks again Rob ExtraProtein Have a swell day everyone !!

Thanks for the information - it sounds like something worth trying. The regular version has a very nice traditional, soapy scent with an exotic note. I absolutely love it. It’s apparently not that popular with some Dutch wetshavers but I really enjoy it every time I use it and in Holland it’s very cheap.

    Saturday morning’s Grand Freeze:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Gillette Platinum day 11
    Stirling Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo SS
    Prep ASB
    Fine Snake Bite AS Splash
    Christian Dior Eau Sauvage EdT

My face is not only BBS it’s also frozen stiff - what a frigid delight this Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap is. I love the scent, it lathers beautifully, the menthol sensation is off the charts, and the skincare is numero uno. The Prep needs no explanation because it’s so good, and the Snake Bite aftershave is an unscented menthol atom bomb. What a dynamite shave this was!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and safe!

Razor: Yaqi 316 V2 "Tile" with a Yaqi 316 Razzo rocket handle- Mfg 2021> Version2, Nice Tame mid range, very enjoyable shave with the V2 model that has better quality control (QC), this razor has a small sweet spot angle easy to find and is just right for those days you just want a decent shave from a hang over. V2 Tile razor works good and much better than the V1 they sold me, Yaqi corrected their QC it seems. Very acceptable machined surfaces that hold the blade with no issues, good machined tolerances on the V2 Tile razor IMO.
Blade: Gillette Astra SP(1), excellent blade, Sharp & smooth. I use this blade most of the time testing new razors as my standard.
Soap: Razorock Don Marco, nice citrus scent with excellent lather qualities. Nice scented soap to cheer up a person in winter.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Moka 2 band badger, Excellent lather generator, big pillow soft tips, nice scrubber, nice lather painter.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Italian barber Amici, nice AS with witch hazel + dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= [IMG]excellent shave with my Yaqi SS V2 tile razor with a Gillette Astra.

Yaqi Tile stainless steel head on Yaqi stainless steel handle (both polished)

First run with the Yaqi Tile head and this one is definitely a keeper. A solid shaver that reminds of a Gamechanger shave.

Yaqi shave soap is not a bad soap. Very good cushion and glide. I just got a couple of samples to try out.

    Take care.
