The Proraso Green Tea and Oatmeal Shave Cream lathered well with Semogue Excelsior 1305 Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Cobra Classic razor and the Feather Artist Club Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Lather: OSP Neroli Shaving Soap.
Blade: Amazon Solimo. (D1)
Razor: Ming Shi 2000s Futur clone. (Settings 3 & 4)
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) (D2)

(Face & Head Shave)

A new eclectic shave set up to start the Weekend...The star of my shave this morning was the OSP Neroli Scented Shaving Soap, each time a use this soap it never fails to provide me with a excellent lather. This morning was no exception.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

Chubby 2 Best Badger still losing 1 or 2 hairs each time I use it (shrug) still holds lots of lather though which is a plus for face lathering

Friday 10th = Astra day 4: getting a bit rough
Saturday 11th = Feather day 1: super crisp

Two wonderful 2 passes and touch ups on each occasion

This is the Egyptian version of Ingram which IMHO is so much better than the discontinued UK one. The scent is pretty much the same but it never turns watery, it lathers beautifully, the menthol sensation is stronger than the UK version, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable. The Prep gave me lots of additional moisturizing as well as soothing along with a most pleasant menthol cooling effect. Last but not least the Krasnaya Moskva (Red Moscow) cologne which I received as a gift from a dear friend of mine in Russia smells so classy and elegant. Another three pass fun filled BBS shave from my Junjie/Wilkinson combo!

DE SOTD, January 11th 2025

Razor : Yaqi Sentinel 1.50mm 316 SSP head with a Taqi Tear drop 316 SSP handle. Excellent machining, finish + a different way of blade alignment thats similar to the Wolfman W2 series or Personna BBS razors for alignment and clamping.
Blade : Polsilver SI (2) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Proraso green eucalyptus menthol scented, decent masculine scent for a nice change + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Viper" 24mm boar bristle knot. One of my favorite boar brushes for looks and performance.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Proraso green with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Sentinel razor and a Polsilver blade.
