    Razor: Gillette 3 piece tech
    Blade: 7 O`Clock(2)
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Lather: La Toja
    Pre Shave: Hibco Nag Champa
    AS: Hibco Butter Balm
    Newspaper Date: Nov. 9.1943

Using the 7 O`Clock blade in the Tech, a little better than the SS. A two pass shave, WTG/ATG with a detailed clean up resulting in a pretty good shave, slightly better than yesterday. I`ve put it in my Fat Boy for tomorrow. This particular blade may be a dud, all the other 7 O`Clocks have been just fine. The Fat Boy should tell, I`ll go back through the same 3 razors with a different blade to make sure(same protocol). " Detective Billdog" on the job. So not to worry. God Bless and have a nice day.

    Personna Gem Blade
    Frank Shaving Boar brush
    My Orange Menthol Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Pinaud Clubman After Shave

Even though I like using my other Gem razors (1912, Pushbutton, Featherweight, Micromatic OC), the G-Bar is my favorite. For me, it's weight and balance are perfect and I always expect great shaves from it. And today was no exception as it delivered a very smooth and comfortable three pass BBS shave.

PAL vs Schick Round 1 cont.
    Razor: Schick E2
    Blade: Chinese Schick (1)
    Brush: JR #87
    Soap: Proraso Sandalwood
    After Shave: Lucky Tiger
    Results: BBS

I can see now that in this contest it is going to be extremely difficult to find a clear cut winner. Regardless the show must go on. In the E2 the first shave with a new chick is a little rougher and while I felt this in the PAL as well it was not as pronounced. Therefore, Round 1 goes to the PAL Injecto-Matic as it was ever so slightly smoother. Will this carry over into subsequent rounds? We shall see....

    Razor - Edwin Jagger "Kelvin"
    Blade - Feather "Hi-Stainless"
Brush - Satin Tip "The Purest" Synthetic Black

Shave Soap - Catie's Bubbles Luxury Cream "Le Piment De La Vie" (In my own personally labelled container that is different from the original. If you have not shaved with this you are missing out on perhaps the greatest smelling shave soap ever made. If you buy directly from Catie's Bubbles website make SURE to email the owner and ask him to make the "Luxury CREAM" formula, skip the standard "Luxury" formula, the "CREAM" one is where it's at! I ordered mine from Amazon at this link and it is the "cream" version: )
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WAKCWQ8/?tag=thshde-20

    Deodorant - Sam's Natural "Tobacco"
Aftershave - Country Club for Men "Southern Oud"
Post Shave Balm - Retseliney Hyaluronic Acid Serum
    Fragrance - Creed Royal Oud

I applied no pre-shave oil today and got a few nicks and some irritation on my neck. I used a brand new blade I've never used before from Feather called "Hi-Stainless". I don't fault the soap. The soap is amazing but my skin on my neck is notorious for sensitivity and the pre-shave oil has always been the key to prevent irritation, especially with brand new, super-sharp blades.

Anyway, it was a fantastic shave experience overall and the soap scent is to die for!

I ordered a polished Blackbird in September then the OC when the orders opened. Still waiting but it should be coming soon - hopefully. I'm glad to hear you enjoy the razor. I think they look beautiful and was just admiring yours!

    Van Yulay - Club Humidor
    Rubberset 200-4 | Omega Boar
    Star 1912 | Gem PTFE (1)

In my den, Van Yulay is one of the easiest soaps to lather, despite my hard water. It's intuitive---boar or badger---such that each time I have mounds of bright white yogurt-y lather. It's also one of my top favorites for residual slickness. This combo of the uncannily smooth Star/Gem PTFE and the protection from Van Yulay means I can get BBS in 2 passes and minimal clean-up.

The fragrance of Club Humidor, specifically, is not really that of a humidor, but rather that of a manly man that probably just walked out of one after a night on the town. While there are some aromatic cedar and cured tobacco notes, there's enough citronella, leather, and amber to round out this cologne-type scent.
