    Wednesday

    Prep: Hot shower
Coffee: Fresh ground Starbucks French Roast, BLACK
    Soap: TSD SOTQ B2 - Cantaloupe + 3 drops M Bomb
    Brush: Ever Ready 250PB
    Razor: '61 Fatboy @ 6
    Blade: Dorco ST-301, day 3, 3+ passes
Post: Cold water rinse, ice water splash, Dickenson's WH, Curve, hand strop blade
    'Stache Wax: Steve's Own

    Shave Rating: 4 Blades

Had I not been lazy and had ground up my home roasted Rwanda, this would have easily been a 5 blade shave. But since my coffee is part of my shave routine, I have to consider it in the overall rating.

I didn't expect less from the shave itself and I wasn't disappointed. Great shave.

Been meaning to ask you what makes Rwanda better than store bought?

Rwanda just happens to be the country where the coffee is grown. Like a Kenya or Colombian coffee is from the respective country. I've tried quite a few and have found that I prefer the coffees from Africa (Kenya and Rwanda, for example) over the Central and South American coffees. It's just a matter of taste preference, nothing more.

As for being better than store bought, "they" say coffee goes stale after seven days. By roasting my own and only doing what I will use in a week's time, I never have stale coffee. You'll never get that from store bought, hence why I think home roasted is better than store bought.

    July, 13

Being too tired from today's workout, I decided to return to DE for a day.

Merkur 23C/Blue Personna#1 (my last Blue Personna blade!)
Muhle travel brush in best badger
    Valobra shave stick ( :love055 :love008 )
    Cold water rag

Valobra stick got the place among my 'personal bests' right from the first shave. Love it!
