SE SOTD, Friday, July 21st 2023

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur 50mm AC type- Mfg 2021> tame mid range, simple blade clamping, small head parts( assemble over a wash cloth). This little razor is one of my favorites in my large SE razor collection. Performance is stellar 95%> of the time.
Had a close shave with no issues this morning.
Blade : Schick Proline (2) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Lavender, nice scented soap of lavender with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Purple haze" 24mm synthetic knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a excellent stellar shave this morning with no issues + a Schick proline coated blade. Very happy results this morning!

Another new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend...It's been some time since i last used the Pearlman Shaver's spirit soap which is a excellent shaving soap... It's very slick, protective with a fresh mild masculine "old Spice" fragrance to my nose which lingers throughout the shave and beyond creating a wonderful lather in a short space of time leaving a good post shave feel.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth cool and smelling divine.

The Archaic Eureka Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the M. Hunter & Son 5/8 straight gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Here’s a soap and an aftershave which my darling wife bought me as a gift a few years ago and I haven’t used them in quite a while. The soap’s scent is quite nice - it’s exactly what it implies, it’s cranberry with menthol notes, it lathers like a maniac - in fact it’s very easy to overload the brush because it’s so thick and dense, it’s very cushiony although not too slick, it gives a strong menthol sensation, and the skincare is pretty good. The Prep felt so good when I massaged it on, and the Fougère Santal aftershave from Reef Point not only smells gorgeous it’s very mentholated. Three passes left me as smooth as a glass table top - what a great shave this was!
