This Aristocrat razor provides me with the loudest audible feedback of all my razors. Bar none. It’s also for some reason, a razor with which I could get by with just one pass. It’s remarkable really. It’s not “aggressive,” it’s just really efficient. Maybe it’s the weight of the handle, idk. Maybe not. My Red Tips come close in terms of one pass efficiency, but they’re bitey-er than the Arostocrat. I only use a blade sans wax dots in TTOs, so a fresh IP got the nod.

Now, the Zenith brush, well this is kind of interesting.. or not.. the knot is 28/51 per yourshaving dotcom, the online joint where I found it. I’m still in the breaking it in phase with under a dozen shaves with it. The knot is the densest bristle knot I’ve seen. And it’s bereft of black bristles - Joseph would approve. It promises to be a super, super brush down the road. But frankly I’m not reaching for it as often as I thought I would. It’s the handle shape; the waist is higher than I normally like. I prefer the skinnier part of the handle to be down lower. Once my new ivory Omega comes in, this Zenith will likely hit the PIF pile. Maybe sooner. Stay tuned.

Did the full frosty for a steamy New York morning - still happily working the Snake Bite triple milled. To finish I did a double shot of Snake Bite splash followed with a healthy handful of the Frost Byte, followed by an even healthier handful of Snake Bite for a 5 minute chill.

Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Anbbas 24mm Tuxedo synthetic.
Head & Face Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Ach Brito Mogno Shaving soap.
Razor: Parker 24C. - Personna Comfort Coated. (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Head/Dome) (Settings) 4-wtg. 4-xtg/atg.+pick-ups. - Personna Injector PTFE. (D8)

Post:

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend....Another superb performance from the Ach Brito Mogno Shaving Soap Bar which i use like a shave stick rubbing it directly into my stubble then build up a lather with my wet brush adding more water to the tips of the brush continued building the lather until i get it to the consistency i prefer.

My reacquaintance with both the Personna Comfort Coated & Parker 24C open comb razor has been fantastic....This duo really works well together.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth cool and smelling divine.

The ARKO Shaving Cream lathered well with the Semogue Excelsior 1305 Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Lee Manufacturing 5/8 Razor gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Clubman Pinaud After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I don’t use Proraso Green often but whenever I do I enjoy it a lot. Since the soap was reformulated I find its scent nicer, the lather is still as easy to work up as ever, there seems to be more slickness, the menthol sensation is still very pleasant, but the skincare is MUCH better. The matching pre/dopo cream is great as a balm, and the matching aftershave is so cooling as well as soothing. Two passes did the job for me - smooth as silk - in other words a very enjoyable BBS shave. Today I have to go to the post office to pick up a HUGE package from Captain Nemo Shaving Supplies in Kolkata, India - am I ever excited!

Razor : Ever- Ready British 1912- Mfg 1933-53 UK, mid range, this razor was built to last and still gives a excellent shave. This razor is new old stock almost or is. The handle if one of the best for grip because of the ornamental corners protruding. The ASR 1912 model was the best seller for their brand and sold millions. Had a close and comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild Rose cream, very rose smelling soap 5-6/10 strength with excellent lather qualities. CRS makes excellent creams from my uses over the years.
Brush : Yaqi "Panda bear" 24mm Tuxedo knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Pinaud Clubman with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Ever-Ready 1912 + a coated Gem blade.
