    Pre-Shave: Face brush-washed with Van der Hagen Unscented Glycerin Shave Soap, then a warm shower
    Razor: Gillette Slim, setting 5
    Blade: Tatra Platinum, 4th Shave
    Cream: Barbasol Cool Menthol
    Brush: RazoRock Snowman
    After-Shave: daylogic Arctic Blue

    A pre-shave brush-wash with the VdH Glycerin soap seems to be making quite a positive impact on my shaves. After washing, air-drying, and a warm shower, my whiskers were standing on end as though I'd applied Lectric Shave.

    Today's shave was, once again, better than the day before; tantalizingly close to a BBS result--buttery smooth with no problems at all. Seems that with the Tatra blade, a more aggressive blade exposure is the way to go. I don't recall ever daring to shave with the Slim opened up to setting 6, but it's going to be on the agenda for tomorrow.

    I've elected to implement a setup-of-the-week plan and will continue with today's gear for tomorrow's shave. For the rest of the summer, I'll be rotating through my collection of refreshing citrus and menthol soap, creams, and after shave lotions. Week 2 of July will feature RazoRock Essential Oil of Lime soap and Gabel's Lime Menthol after shave lotion. If the Tatra blade dies, an Astra Superior Platinum will take its place.

    Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Moisture Shower Gel.

    Pre:
    Cold wet flannel to my face.
    Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
    Brush: Anbbas 24mm Tuxedo synthetic.
    Bowl Lather.
    Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
    Lather: Erasmic Shave Cream.
    Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D2)
    Razor: 1970's Gillette Aluminium Handle Tech S4. (ENG)

    Post:
    Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./ Cien Men Aqua ASL./Bulldog Original Moisturiser.

    Greetings,

    The Erasmic shave is another inexpensive shaving cream that doesn't have much of a scent, but makes up for it's performance and post shave feel.

    A comfortable close 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

    Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Bulldog Original Moisturiser.

    My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)
