Tuesday

Had switched over to Feather Super Pro Blades after using up some Guarded Blades in the Feather ACD-N. What a difference. Haven't sliced myself up that bad since I have no idea when. Definitely a trashed shave. Will lay off the ACD-N for Wednesday. Damn.

Rick, you liking the Shavemac Flattop? The blue one I have is a bigger brother to that one and it's my fave.

Didn't feel the quake. Too far north and there are enough fractures zones between here and there to absorb some of the vibrations. I'm just waiting for the Hayward Fault to let loose. It's overdue

Second time with a Floris soap (see yesterday's shave)...PERFECT again!!

Only thing is, the JF soap (@ 40% off, it costs $19 refill...$30 w/ bowl) smells and performs almost exactly like the De Vergulde Hand I bought from TSD store ($9.99)! It's nice, but not any better than DVH.

• Result: Great BBS Shave with the NEW as always. Polsilver blade works great even on shave 3. Expect to get 5 shaves out of it. The Very V from SCS just keeps on working providing a nice slick lather to help the NEW and Polsilver glide across the face. No blood from nicks or weepers again today.
