It is a very (very) faint and delicate mint scent. I have heard others describe it as the way the bathroom smells after someone just finished brushing their teeth, and that really is a great comparison. I didn't know if I would like a mint scented soap, but this is really well done. Definitely worth trying...

Another nice shave from the Russian Green. It is starting to slow down and I am unsure if I should try and squeak a few more shaves out it. It will most likely get changed, but it really depends on my mood.

Hadn't used a feather for a few months, so decided it was time. As is frequent with the feather, I got a couple weepers in what was otherwise a great shave.

Wow.

12 days and still slicing clean. I'm glad I tried the Astra blades again. I had almost resigned myself to using Voshkods and 7'Oclock Permasharps from here on out Options are nice!

I took a teaspoon of menthol crystals and a puck of VDH deluxe and melted/mixed it well and then added some shredded modern Williams and then sunk a puck of VDH select into the center. I teuly ain't using it like I intended yet because a little bit of deluxe came up over the top, so I gotta use it off first, but even though it isn't completely as I wanted, yet, it was quite nice. If any of you had any trepidations about doing this, try it, I think you'll be pleased. It isn't even as designed yet but works like a champ. So soft are my cheeks and neck afterward, and so smooth.

An excellent Father's Day shave.
