I have a 1912 and I agree with you. A well built, quality razor. I don't remember a single bad shave from it, but I've had plenty of great ones.

Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Palmolive Classic Shave Sticks. (grated)
Blade: Personna PTFE SS Injector. (D2)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Setting 4)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils, 5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Denim Original ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #449 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the SHaDE-Matic razor and the Half Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Lately I’ve been using stuff that’s been sitting around here for a long time but for some silly reason I’ve been ignoring. The Brion Sensitive cream from Serbia is a very cheap brand, it has a nice minty/soapy scent with pretty good lather, it has a bit of a menthol sensation, and it’s very gentle on my sensitive skin. The Nip Man balm smells almost exactly like the Brion cream and it gives great moisturizing as well as soothing. The Aqua Velva Sport aftershave smells so nice and it’s so cooling. No complaints about this shave - it was very quick but BBS with no issues whatsoever.
