I know Danny but I'm trying to stay away from menthol for the last few days because I'm running out of menthol. I did buy 8oz of crystals though, should be here soon. Then I'll fall off the wagon. I want some of the bomb but I got the crystals on the way now. I needed enough to treat all of my stuff, not that it isn't an awesome addition to any den.

I'm ruined. Seriously, I get really good shaves consistently, but without menthol, I just don't get that spring in my step. I've tried to abstain until I can treat all my regular stuff. Then it'll be like some tantric menthol surrender.:anifrozen I'm ruined.

Friday June 11 59' Fat Boy (set on 9) Store bought blade (3) Ever Ready Boar Home Made Pre Shave Oil TSD Cool Water SS Cold Water Splash Lucky Tiger Aspen Toner A/S Gillette Cool Wave A/S Coffee, Very Americana Result: 4+ blades, 3 pass+ touchup. Not bad for a store bought blade. Took extra time to prep face and to get good lather, which always pays off for me. Side note: I really like how Lucky Tiger Aspen combines with Gillette Cool Wave when layered. Lucky Tiger = first layer. When dry add the Cool Wave. Leaves a well toned face in the summer without a tacky or greasy feeling, and leaves a great lasting scent.

As I've said before, the Solo Menthol cream has a beautiful scent, with great lather, and although the cooling effect is not that strong, it's still there. The Barbon aftershave is very cooling.
