It just can't get any colder than this - everything I'm using is so cold. The Neutrogena facial wash smells very nice and if you leave it on your face for a minute or two you'll feel a damned strong chill from it. The Glacial Wintergreen soap is off the charts in menthol power, and the vastly-improved lather is such a pleasure to work with. The Diana Sport/Rubby Dubby Doo combination definitely puts the "icing" on the cake! ;) :D

Made Rite w/ TGN Boar knot
    Gillette Fatboy F2
    Shark Super Chrome (1)
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    FD Old Spice AS

The Van Der Hagen Luxury shave soap face lathered very well with my Made Rite/TGN boar brush. Two passes with the Gillette fatboy and Shark SC blade was all it took for a close comfortable shave. After the cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Family Dollar Old Spice after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I really am looking forward to using my "Old Corps & Oscar 11 Custom Brush. It is becomming one of my favorites. It really seems to lather better than my other brushes. I feel that it is one of my best if not the best brush that I have. It was a joint effort between myself and Steve aka Oscar11. Thanks a million. Steve.

    Monday:
hot shower w/Yardley Jasmine Pearl bar soap
    Somersets Extra Sensitive PSO
Gillette Super Speed Flare Tip 2+ passes
    SuperMax Super Platinum Tiger (2)
    VDH boar
    Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet soap
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
Murray & Lanman Florida Water cologne

In a hurry this morning to get to work early so my shave was rushed a bit. First time with the Penhaligon's and my lather was nice but a little thin so I need to get the ratio nailed down.

    Have a great week all!

Brush: 20mm Whipped dog set deep
Razor: slim adjustable set to 3
    Blade: Derby (second use)
    soap:

    Provence Sante
    Post: Alum sprayed on
    Witch Hazel: Generic unscented

Today was pretty rushed getting going. I skipped face scrub, pre-shave oil, and AS.

Fortunately, I was using Provence Sante today, so I still had a very nice shave. This stuff is great.

The Derby blade did O.K. today, just as it did yesterday. It does not seem to be a great or a bad blade. I will see if it lasts 4 shaves.

Prep: warm wash with Stirling barbershop
    Lather: Tiki Set Sail
    Brush: Vie-Long 13061M horsehair
    Razor: Weber PH
    Blade: Persona Super Platinum
    Post: Proraso green aftershave

2 passes and had to stop, just wasn't a great shave going on. A little blood on the chin, cheek and lips led me to believe that I ought to take a day or two off shaving.

I used the RR San Valentino today to start the work week. The RR Artisan Soaps are excellent. Great shave with the Slim and the 7 O’Clock Green SS. I finished with Grey Flannel.

Very nice shave this morning. I've been neglecting my badgers for a while. This is a short lofted Super Finest from TGN, very nice face feel, soft and dense. Have a good one.

    Menthol Monday
Synergy week continues with perhaps my favorite so far... Frost_Byte. It shares the excellent performance of all the other Synergy soaps, with the bonus of a big menthol kick. My face always feels great after using these soaps, and today was no exception. I used Fine Platinum to finish up, with solid results. It's not nearly as cold as Krampert's Frostbite, but the scent is great.
    Prep: RR/HTGAM lime menthol
    Soap: HTGAM Synergy Frost_Byte
    Brush: Plisson Synthetic

    MONDAY
Gonna be a warm one today, though not as hot as yesterday (102°F); so an early morning cold-water shave was on-order.
An 'XLNT' 3-pass shave with the restored Wadsworth—although I'm not a fan of the feel of these faux bamboo scales. Maybe time to get a new set of scales for this nice little razor.

    Have a great Monday, all!
