A great shave indeed, but I don't think the Slim gives as good a shave as the Red tip with this blade. Not without venturing into the danger sone of 7-8-9. I may give 7 a try tomorrow.

The Gillette Permasharp/Chatsworth combination proved to be very challenging. This was shave #1 for the Permasharp, and it seemed extremely sharp, particularly in the Chatsworth. The CF cream didn't seem to help much. Although it produced a good lather, I wasn't at all satisfied with its lubricity.

Result: First shave with the Wostie since I got it back from re-honing (actually honing it sharper). Much better shave with it this time around, although I definitely still need a lot of work on my technique. I'm just not getting it yet... Not really digging the Sp. Floid, either....first time with that though, so it's too soon to pass final judgement...

A quick shave this morning that actually turned out to be very smooth, and nice. The Ming Shi knows its way over my face very well by know!

Excellent shave today......this Peterman stuff is pretty darn fun to use. Very slick, with a dense lather that even smells good! The skin care part is also very nice. Yeah, I'm gonna have to reorder this soon.
