Despite the temperatures, spring is asserting its dominance.
And, given my meteosurrender, I used a Neapolitan soap this morning.

Curious...while I had plenty, it didn't say much to me. Now that it's running out, I like it more and more and I am very attracted to its cousins too!
It lathers immediately, firm and 'adjustable', fantastic texture and a sophisticated scent.

Naples is not the capital of fashion, in its commercial way, but it is certainly the epicenter of men's fashion.
Naples pampers the man with its barbers, tailors, cafes and pastry shops...

Genoa is the pivot of Anglo-Saxon men's fashion in its Italian version, ultra-classic and conservative, with a less 'hanged' cut: grisaille, flannel, Vatican cloth, solaro, gabardine allign undisturbed...
Apart from a few trendy Milanese, the Genoese are the only ones who wear ticket pockets!
Venice and Padua indulge in modernity.
Naples remains the stronghold of the dandy 'male' and where this is not criticized as a sybarite, but admired!

I've always dreamed of sipping a 'coffee', perhaps with a San Gennariello, at a table by the sea, wearing a gabardine suit after having been shaved in a salon with a vintage decor...

I've never been able to do it, but, if Paradise is like in the promotional posters, I know I will!
And every day!

Mine was a reduced version, 00 let's say, of a private Neapolitanity, in the Northern valley: the face was here, but the heart there!

Outstanding shave today. The Futur demolished three days growth in comfort and smoothness. I used 5.5 on my cheeks and 1.5 on my neck leaving no weepers or irritation. I love this scent!

The Virgilio Valobra Shaving Soap lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the 1902 Pre-War Gillette FH Tech razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This morning's shave taught me something-Guerlain Vetiver A.S. probably feels better when it's warm out(though not HUMID). It will be warm today, but the mornings remain cold.The Barbasol Original is coming to an end, but still good for a few more shaves, I'd say. I missed the left and right sides of Upper Cactus Nation. . Will get them tomorrow with better "focus". Elsewhere, all went well. The Vetiver's pour spout is big, so I had to do the "finger routine" to block some of its pouring. @Trigger and others who have helped me with this know what I'm talkinabout. One pass. No Kmicks/Cuts. Most Excellent.
