Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Simple Pure Bar Soap.
Brush: Frank Shaving 22mm Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Omega Eucalyptus Shaving Cream.
Blade: Parker/Personna PTFE SS. (D3)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Settings) 3-wtg. 4-xtg/atg.+pick ups.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Blue Stratos ASL./ Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

Everything worked together in my shave set up...The Omega Eucalyptus Shaving cream which i haven't used for a while provided a wonderful slick protective lather which made my Sunday morning shave a pleasurable shaving experience...Another wonderful performance from the Parker InjRzr.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Fernando’s Frosted Bay Rum soap has such a gorgeous scent - it’s so spicy, clovey, and sweet, the lather is so thick, rich as well as slick thanks to the tallow formula, there’s plenty of menthol in it, and the skincare is A1. The Prep gave me its own special cooling postshave care, and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave’s delightful old school barbershop scent is a favourite of mine as well as the brisk, invigorating menthol kick. Three passes left me as smooth as silk - what a dynamite shave this was!

The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #217 Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Hi Friends,

Today i had an awesome Shave (20.03.2022)


Razor: King Cobra // Blade: Kai Captain Titan Mild // Soap: Santa Maria Novella // Brush: Nightdiver´s Manufactory // Aftershave: Proraso green

The King Cobra is a loan (the 4th one) of a German member. I am SO thankful that i am able to test this stunning razor. Years ago i had the chance to test the Classic Cobra, which has been a blast too (as far as i remember).

So today i took my new brush (glued the knot by myself, which was fun) out for a spin. What could be a matching soap? Oh wait…green and white…Santa Maria Novella….maaaaan i love this scent.

A few swirls later i had great lather on my skin and the King Cobra should show what he is made for. Carefully i made the first strokes, knowing that this huge fella can bite you if you do not show the needed respect. This thing shaves outstanding. With absolutely no pressure (just as gliding a Feather over your face) the first pass was done.

I smiled from ear to ear…second pass…this Razor is not that aggressive as i had it in my mind, but nevertheless i was careful. After the second pass i could have stopped (with just minor touch ups), but if you have a razor like this, you WILL use it as long as you possible can.

A third pass was done and after that i thought: Can a Baby´s butt be smoother than my face right now? I don ´t think so.

Splashing on the Proraso Afterhave i thought it would burn like hell, but i was highly surprised. I ´ve had 2 or 3 blood spots due to uneven skin but these spots were the only ones where it burnt just for a second. All other parts: NOTHING!!!

I had a blast again. Absolutely great shave.

Sunday Schick shave, March 20th, 2022

Razor: Schick i2 injector with hydro magic- Mfg 1954-57, tame mid range, very enjoyable everything about this razor, easy to clean and can work the face like the E&G types easily + comfortable shave this morning.
Blade: Personna SS PTFE injector(3) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Ach Brito Lavanda cream- nice mild lavender scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Moka 2 band badger- excellent lather generator, large pillow like soft tips, great scrubber+ great lather painter.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups + razor(testing).
Post shave: Ach Brito Lavanda AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my Schick i2 injector with a coated Personna blade.
