    Greetings,

    Early morning shave.

An enjoyable shave to finish my slant razor, sub-continent blade focus & shaving week off superbly.

Throughout the past month or so, my revisiting sub-continent blade focus has been a pleasure. All of the blades that i have revisited have gave me close comfortable shave.

The Statum Platinum Chrome are my new favourite blade which are equal with the Treet 7-Day platinum. Both of these blades are incredibly smooth sharp & efficient and will add them to my blade rotation more regularly in my future SOTD set ups.
Starting next week I'll be revisiting my Egyptian & Turkish made DE blades for the next month or longer pairing them up with various DE razors.

A very comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling smooth cool, & smelling divine. ;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

    Thursday morning:

    Hot shower
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Canadian Tech/Rapira day 2
    De Vergulde Hand SS
    De Vergulde Hand ASB
    De Vergulde Hand AS Spray
    Christian Dior Fahrenheit EdT

As I’ve said so many times, the De Vergulde Hand is the oldest soap on this planet and it’s so cheap in the Netherlands but it’s so good. I love its old school European scent, the lather explodes off the brush - my Yaqi Barber Pole whipped up tons of thick, rich, slick, protective goodness, and it leaves such a comfortable postshave feeling. The matching balm and aftershave completed the job superbly. These days I’m loving the Fahrenheit eau de toilette. Three passes gave me a most delightful BBS shave!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and stay safe![IMG]

    Thanks Jeff!
The soap is actually a Derby Stick which has been put into a dish. In the UK there is an anchovy based 'Gentlemans Relish' called Patum Peperium. Quite a few years back they sold it in ceramic pots of varying sizes. They are to be found on ebay and the larger sizes are ideal for soaps. I put Derby or Arko into a food bag....flatten it by standing on it and then mold it into a dish. They are ideal for the job and if I tire of the appearance of a particular soap.....I just change the lid!

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #436 2-band Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Burham Safety Razor and a Feather FHS Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today's shave was with some American Steel. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. The only issue I had was that I cut my knuckle, after oiling the blade up. I had my head up my rear. Oh well, nothing a little Super Glue wont fix.

    Preshave: Hot shower
    Soap/Shave cream: Cremo Original
    Brush: None
    Razor: Rockwell 6C (R3 plate)
    Blade: PolSilver (3)
    Post shave: Gillette Gel

Terrific shave. I am an unabashed Cremo convert. I still enjoy whipping up a lather with shaving soaps and a nice brush, but this stuff has sort of spoiled me. It's so slick and easy to use and I also love the scent of the Original (and Bourbon Vanilla).
I'm coming to the conclusion the Rockwell 6C is my favorite razor, albeit just a whisker ahead of my Razorock Game Changer 68-P. It's so versatile and I never have a bad shave with it. I usually use the R3 or R4 plate. Today was the R3 and it was just so smooth ...
