Vielen Dank für die Wünsche. Ich hoffe dir geht es auch gut. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich Google für einige der Wörter übersetzt habe. Mein Deutsch ist sehr rostig!

    Glückliche Rasur!

SOTD: Final day (#3) of Frederick Fenney 'Tally Ho' shaves & saving the best for last—this large 8/8" Tally Ho, with amber-colored horn scales, solid amber wedge and large brass hardware, is one of my favorite straight razors; Soap Commander 'Devotion' soap and matching aftershave balm, Jayaruh custom 24mm synthetic brush. Wonderful shave. Have a blessed Wednesday, all!

What a great shave my Super Speed gave me earlier. The Plissoft synthetic whipped the Palmolive Menthol cream into such rich, thick, minty-scented lather which felt icy-cold and left my skin well-moisturized and comfortable. The Rubby Dubby Doo extended the chill beautifully!

    Soap: TSD Bay Rum (lanolin)
    Brush: Semogue 620
    Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant
Blade: Voskhod (1) - more on this below
    After Shave: Pinaud VIBR

I'm really liking the TSD lanolin soap. Scent just doesn't quit and my skin has an affinity for lanolin. Yesterday's shave was a bit of a struggle. That was the second time within a month that I had to cut my normal 7 shaves with a blade short. Both times with a Voskhod. In looking back, I may have discovered the reason for this. Prior to getting the slant, I was using a Fatip Grande exclusively. Blade rotation included Voskhods and never had an issue. Slap in a new blade after Saturday's shave and go Sunday to Saturday with it. Smooth, nice shaves. When last used, the Voskhod got rough during it's 4th outing. This time it was on it's 3rd. I'll see how far I get with the new one I put in this morning. As we all know, some blade & razor combinations are better (or worse) than others. I believe this to be the case here.

    29 March 2017 Hump Daaay!
    Shave of the Day

Today I broke out the Trumper "Limes" Shaving Cream. Using my Omega 6212, the limey goodness was not long in coming. 2.5 passes and a DFS+ was achieved. The SA-109/Voskhod combo is almost as good a stubble assassin as the NEW/GSB combo. I wouldn't want to live on the difference.
Splashed on some Canoe by Dana, walked the puppy and it was off to work.
Have a great day, my fellow Denizens!
