The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #67 synthetic brush. Just one pass and touch ups with the Gillette Single Ring razor and a Voskhod blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

actually, the play is still in review as I type-it was a hard bunt and the third baseman was way in on the grass. He was all set to go to second for a double-play, but then he bobbled the ball and recovered just in time to get me out at first. It's either a sacrifice bunt or a fielder's "no-choice".

course it could also be an error on the third baseman.

 

In my never-ending exploration of blades, I swapped out a week old Personna red for a new Personna Lab Blue. This is the first time i haven't been able to notice a differece between blades. Ok, maybe the blue was a bit smoother, but the red was a week old so a new red would have been a bit smoother too. These are both great blades, possibly my favorites, I just can't tell them apart.

 

That was awesome and that band can really play! That tune is wicked!

 

Then I retract my "unsung hero" statement. You're simply a Li'l Shaver!

 

That brush makes me stop every time I scroll through this thread....I think I'm in Love...lol

 

well, I will say this-I was out by a close shave.
