Hello folks. Great photos everyone. Looking good people. This Mornings SOTD. Modern pot metal YUMA safety razor. 1937 Red & Black Thin Gillette blade. A one pass perfection razor. I only used one side of the blade though. The YUMA was defective and one edge of the blade was warping when installed. I don’t want a trip to the ER for slicing myself up, so I didn’t use the warped side. Al. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sunday morning: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Derby day 2 RVT Lemon Cream SS Bull Dog Moisturizer Murray & Lanman Florida Water Cologne I enjoyed the Lemon Cream soap so much after not having used it in a long time - the scent is beautiful, the lather was rich, thick, with good slickness, and it left a good, comfortable postshave feeling. The Bull Dog moisturizer makes one of the best balms, and the Florida Water has a lovely old school barbershop scent not too mention how refreshing it is as an aftershave. Three passes really cleaned me up and delivered a brilliant BBS shave! Have a great Sunday - be safe and healthy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
•Wilkinson Sticky/new Feather •Barbasol regular 2 pass DFS Was hoping for a magic bullet on this one. The sharpest possible blades do bring out the most from this razor but, at best, it's still a mildish, middle of the road shave...adequate but no great shakes, nothing any Super Speed can't do as well or better. Will give the blade time to smooth out, see if there's any improvement. I'm doubtful. •Dickinson's alum solution and Lucky Tiger, the new Feather left me feeling a little scraped.

Sunday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Morning TOST Burma Shave Boar Tom's B-400 Two-band Badger TNOC by Tom CWR Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS This is my first shave with Tom's Not Another Creation (TNOC). I used both caps. The Morning TOST Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Burma Shave Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the TNOC by Tom with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... I don't chase the baby, but I would call this BBS.

2020-05-10, Sunday Some time ago, someone claimed that Ball End, OC, is very mild and I felt like trying it. It is one of the first market finds since when I was squeezed into the coils of the Rasatio Constrictor, it shows its age (which I don't know precisely) and has lost all the chrome-plating and exhibits now a nice, homogeneous reddish, but structurally perfect. However, not trusting a personal judgment (someone's floor is someone else's ceiling...) I set up a backup razor. Today I wanted a nice close shave and the Rotbart, in my perceptions, is the one which delivers the closest shave, among the ones I have and I selected it in case the OC was too aggressive for me. Actually, the Gillette was mild, but not as mild as the others I normally use. However I expected it to be worse. Anyway, between the two, I still prefer the Rotbart even if, as a first shave with a OC, it has not been that bad! My aftershave left my skin toned and gummy. I used this razor/blade combination a few days ago and had a fabulous shave but today when I splashed on the aftershave I got a seriously hot alcohol burn that I can still feel. Normally shaving with this razor is a no brainer (right up my alley) so I was a bit surprised. Happy Mother's Day to all you fellas!
