Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Real Shaving Company Age Defence Traditional Shave Cream.
Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword. (D2)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic.

Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Cien Men Aqua ASL. + Sensitive ASB.

Early morning shave.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

A smooth acceptable close shave to start the month off wonderfully.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

The Arko Stick Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #18 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Single Ring Razor (1911) and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Pinaud Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

For a change I selected the La Toja stick because I hadn’t used it in quite some time and I’m that I did because it’s so great. The scent, lather, and postshave feeling are wonderful. I had lots of soothing from the Lubriderm moisturizer, and the Island Man aftershave smells amazing - do I ever love it. Another three pass beauty of a BBS shave that was so much fun!

May Day SOTD -

Today’s shave had me turn again to the Nodachi and Ethos Grooming and it is a shave worthy of the workers of the world!

The SS Nodachi is such a sweet razor. Everything about it is just done right. The weight, finish, dotting on the handle, the balance. This is my fourth shave with it and it gets smoother every shave. The Filoso are pairing nicely with it as they seem to do really well at taming an aggressive razor. I’ve very happy with my purchase of this razor.

Ethos. Man oh man, what can I say. I love the smell of fresh flowers. Honeysuckle is a summer scent for me. Growing up we had them growing on both sides of our summer bungalow on the LI sound. Let me tell you when I first took a sniff of the jar I was taken aback. I did not expect the scent to be so exact. I had an instant smell memory activated. When I started to lather the soap the entire room exploded like I was back a child back at the bungalow. Fresh, soft, sweet, and embracing. The scent of honeysuckle instantly brightening the day! And the Ethos lather is thick, rich, and bursting with slickness. I really enjoy the First Lather too and the ball applicator is just perfect. Ethos Grooming really are just a tier above most.

Another great shave! On a day we recognize hard work by the people who labor in this world, we stand proud of what we have achieved through great strength and solidarity. I honor the work, dedication, and care for each other and their communities of the members of the union that I had the distinct honor and privilege to represent and be a brother of AFL-CIO, UWUA, Local 1-2 NYC. And to all the other Union and non Union workers the world over - The People United, Will Never be Defeated!
